Happy Halloween, Bloggers!

Tonight's the night of nights, people!

Me, I'm going to watch Frankenstein and then go to bed early because I have to get up at the ass-crack of dawn tomorrow. Bleh. But you guys party it up if you can, or do whatever working adults do on Halloween these days!

Anyway, I'm going to keep working on my little Classic Monster Movie Marathon (hence the Frankenstein) in the meantime. I meant to have it done before Halloween, but it was too much fun and too important to rush. Yea for Halloween!

I hope you have fun with Frankenstein - did you notice that other than the opening and end credits there was no music score? It really makes the movie stand out - in a weird way, neither good nor bad. I got to see this movie paired with its sequel just last week on the Big Screen - it was AMAZING. Can't wait to read your review!

  2. Happy belated Halloween to you too, Michele!
Haven't seen Frankenstein in a very long tiem, but I remember that I really, really loved it. My favorite Classic Monster movie.

Agree with Craig: the absence of any music between opening and ending is stunning. Back in the 90s, I watched it together with my Mum only a few days after we both saw the French suspense classic DIABOLIQUE, a movie also without any music between opening and ending.
