Sure, there are woods around there, but if you walk for half an hour you'll either run into someone's farm or I-70. If you can get lost in the woods on South Mountain, you can get lost in your own bathroom. At the time it seemed to me like a horror film for people who never watch scary movies; something operating at a level where genre fans are already desensitized. Now I'm older and can appreciate it more for revitalizing the found footage genre (good or bad) and possibly inspiring the wave of DIY horror movies.Matt from MNnoreply@blogger.com
