So I don't recommend that.

I too was gonna recommend Halloween flavored movies, which Maynard already said. One of my favorite October tactics is spotlighting horror movies that aren't usually mentioned as the classics of the season, which allows me to pimp the likes of Targets or The Devil Rides Out while people are thinking about Frankenstein or Dracula.

Whatever you do, just have fun with it! It amazes me how stressed we horror fans - myself incluced - get stressed about the Halloween season. Which only means that we love it a ton, which is awesome. The Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09871017982169159144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459781420607928525.post-53069842637451141632011-10-02T10:45:20.773-05:002011-10-02T10:45:20.773-05:00hm, maybe a post dedicated to your favorite decade...hm, maybe a post dedicated to your favorite decade?
or your favorite franchise?
Halloween-themed movies (without Myers)?
revisiting the Poltergeist films?Maynard Morrisseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00484689288762406307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459781420607928525.post-6698513728431333002011-10-01T21:24:14.931-05:002011-10-01T21:24:14.931-05:00I don't have any suggestions, but I am definit...I don't have any suggestions, but I am definitely looking forward to reading about what you have to say about Buffy!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459781420607928525.post-19227791566744041812011-10-01T17:48:36.712-05:002011-10-01T17:48:36.712-05:00Or you could just go on holiday, that's what I...Or you could just go on holiday, that's what I'm doing!filmrrusshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08242906606942840491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7459781420607928525.post-734733373060675312011-10-01T16:42:29.572-05:002011-10-01T16:42:29.572-05:00You can go classic and review Universal's mumm...You can go classic and review Universal's mummy movies from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s (if you thrown in "Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy"). that would be exactly a week's worth, with a post each each day.

If you want to torture yourself with some really crappy movies, you could review the entire "Witchouse" or "Witchcraft" series. (Not that I necessarily recommend doing either of those. I don't want to get sued for being the cause of rotting your brain away.

On a similar note, you could review the Full Moon vampire series "Subspecies" along with spin-offs "Vampire Journals" and "Decadent Evil". that would be a week's worth of decent vampire movies... save for the last one.

OR.. you could pick an iconic monster type (vampire, werewolf, mummy, zombie, witch, demon, what have you) and do a little essay on it, together with a review of a movie that features it.

(Me, I took the easy way out this year...
